Story time: Bavaria, Germany

The itinerary, such as it is

There is a plan and then there is Bavaria, and the two rarely speak. You land in Munich with a spreadsheet and leave Nuremberg with a hangover and a photograph of a man you are fairly sure was a duke.

What to actually do

Walk until your feet complain, then walk a little more, then sit down somewhere with a garden and no menu in English. That is the whole trick.
